Dhyan is a recognised expert in Water Smart Gardening and brings this expertise to all her designs ensuring you have a low water use garden with superior drought tolerance.
The Landscape Design Process
The Step Wise Process of Developing a Landscape Design
- We begin with a Client Questionnaire and an on-site Consultation and Site Analysis.
- A Job Brief is prepared which details Client aspirations and design recommendations.
- A Concept Plan is developed outlining the broad design principles and layout.
- A Master Plan is developed showing all landscape features, placement of plants, hard landscaping and a Plant Schedule.
- We can also prepare a Plant Schedule as a stand alone option for Clients seeking advice on what to plant only.
- We can also prepare a Landscape Design Care and Maintenance Plan as well as refer you to our select group of Landscape Contractors for installation of the Design.
Residential Gardens
We can redesign existing gardens or create new gardens in part of full. Dhyan provides an Advisory Service for those looking for fresh ideas and wishing to undertake the installation themselves.
Rural Properties
We design for the rural residence garden as well as the adjoining paddocks, integrating wildlife corridors, tree lots, shelterbelts and paddock tree replacement plans into a whole property design. We regularly include orchards, vegetable gardens, beneficial insectary plantings, healthy farm dams and permaculture principles into our rural property Landscape Designs.
Public Space Landscapes
We are passionate about developing public space landscapes that have climate resilience and biodiversity conservation features. Well designed public space landscapes provide an excellent resource for community education as well as promoting regional identity and a sense of place.
